This job is responsible for performing general ultrasound examinations at a technical level in accordance with department protocols and applicable regulatory requirements. An incumbent assumes responsibility for the safe, efficient and proper operation of ultrasound equipment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Graduation from an accredited training program in Cardiac and/or General diagnostic radiology (Certificate in sonography).
Recent completion of a twelve-month internship in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent recent directly-related work experience.
Sonographer Certification/Registry Required
American Heath Associated "BLS" Provider Required
