Provides care and support to patients under the direction of the physician and/or mid-level provider. Contributes to the planning and delivery of patient focused care as well as some registration duites.
Must be able to assist four handed dentistry
Proper set up for each procedure
Clean area after each procedure
Consistently follows Infection Control guidelines in the sanitizing and sterilization of instruments
Takes X-rays as needed
Assists doctors in the pouring of molds
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Must Dental Assistant Diploma or Certification
In the last three (3) years, one (1) year experience as a Certified Dental Assistant in a clinic or acute care setting preferred
Must have a Dental Assistant Diploma or Certification.
Current CPR certification preferred
