Hours: M-F,7:00am - 3:30pm


Maintains clinical equipment through the effective use of the Medical Equipment Management Program and PSHSJ business standards. Performs a variety of routine tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of complex biomedical equipment. May participate in the evaluation and selection of new equipment, accessories, and supplies. Coordinates special projects and performs technical tasks. Provides technical guidance to other BMET or Field Service employees in the department. Adheres to instructions and corporate policies, and demonstrates professionalism with integrity in all interactions with customers and staff.


Associate's degree in biomedical equipment technology or electronics required. Two (2) years military training, or other experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment may be substituted in lieu of the educational requirement.

Five (5) years of experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment required

Active CBET certification is preferred.

Working familiarity with all current accreditation standards such as TJC, DNV, or others preferred.
