JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, responsible for building and delivering educational program(s) to train staff, students, and physicians on approved operational practices and clinical/business software applications. Working in collaboration with a program team, maintain training records and develop new training materials. Coordinate activities with other training units within Penn State Hershey.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Either: (a) Bachelor's degree plus four additional years of job related experience or (b) eight years total of job related experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

In-depth knowledge of software applications used for developing and managing training materials, including the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Camtasia Studio, and Adobe Captivate required

Experience with the use of an LMS to organize and deliver on-line training modules required

Proficient in the use of training methods required

Strong oral and written communication skills required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior experience in teaching preferred
