Penn State Health Heart and Vascular Institute (PSHHVI) is currently recruiting an interventional cardiologist for a full-time faculty position experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease, structural heart disease and peripheral arterial disease. The person who fills this position will work with a team of four cardiologists and three advanced practice providers. The Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is a tertiary medical center and the home of the Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine. Candidates will have completed a residency in Internal Medicine and additional fellowship training in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease.
As faculty members employed by Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, candidates will be involved in clinical, teaching, and research activities. We are seeking candidates with enthusiasm for teaching and working in a team to provide excellent cardiac and vascular care. The level of faculty appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience and training. A tenure track appointment will be considered for a person with appropriate credentials.
Medical Degree- M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
Completion of Internal Medicine residency program and additional Fellowship training in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease
Eligible for licensure for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
Board Certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
