Hours: 8:30a -5:00p, Monday - Friday, Every 5th weekend
Responsible to provide 24/7 telephone communication, triage, and campus-wide emergency line throughout the Institution, including the Hospital, Medical Group, College of Medicine, and across all locations. Responsible to accurately process a high volume and wide variety of calls by determining caller's specific needs and connecting call to correct area.
High School Diploma with 1 year job related experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Strong oral and written communication skills, decision making and resilience required.
Critical thinking skills and good judgment under pressure required.
Ability to understand and follow procedures required.
Excellent customer service skills required.
Ability to successfully complete a 12 week hands-on training program, including multi-line call center telephone processing and computer applications that support the Contact Center call handling and appointment scheduling required.
Experience including word processing, scheduling, telephone call center system, medical office, or medical terminology preferred.
