Penn State Hershey Medical Center is Central Pennsylvania’s only Academic Medical Center, Level 1 Regional Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, and Tertiary Care Provider.

J OB SUMMARY:

Registered Nurses in the CT Procedure Suite are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care to Adult and Pediatric patients. In this role, the RN will do procedural sedation in the CT Biopsy Suite; care for patients in MRI and Nuclear Medicine and pre-procedure and post procedure Stage I & Stage II recovery for procedures in Radiology. This position requires on call hours on weekday evenings, weekends and holidays Position also requires ACLS and PALS.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·Registered Nurse with a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Pennsylvania or a Registered Nurse from another state with a Temporary PA Practice Permit

·6 months of experience working as a RN

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·Minimum of 3 years experience in Critical Care, ED or PACU

·Position requires BLS, ACLS, and PALS - Must be completed within 6 months of hire
