JOB SUMMARY:

The Radiology Scheduler initiates the revenue cycle process for routine and complex outpatient radiological appointments including but not limited to: CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and Mammography. The incumbent is responsible for scheduling and/or coordinating all components of a radiological study which includes modality, contrast, anesthesia, and follow up clinic visits. Accurate scheduling ensures delivery of ordered clinical care, optimal reimbursement, minimal denials and a positive patient financial experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma required.

1 year of customer service experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

Good written and oral communications skills required.

Excellent time management and organizational skills required.

Ability to coordinate processes through myriad of tests, paperwork, preparations for each patient¿s care is required.
