JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for completing various project work in association with an administrative internship. The intern will have the opportunity to gain experience in the operations of a large, academic medical center. The intern will participate in senior management meetings, one-on-one opportunities with key stakeholders, and complete comprehensive project work throughout the medical center. The internship will culminate with a presentation to leaders explaining the outcomes of the major project or projects that were completed. The preceptor(s) will work directly with the intern throughout the summer, orienting him or her to the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently pursuing a degree in a field related to hospital administration at Penn State University.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of the Department of Health Policy and Administration internship requirements preferred.
