Provide technology support to one or more operational business units of the Medical Center. Participate in team planning and discussions, prepare sections of team documents, lead small to medium-sized projects, and participate in larger projects. Emphasize daily task completion and project completion, according to specific instructions (which usually require the implementation of known approaches, perhaps with modest modification, rather than the engineering of new solutions).
Enterprise Applications Operations Team:
Our 6 plus person Enterprise Applications Operations team supports the primary business applications used by PennState Health – primarily an on-premise full suite Infor/Lawson ERP solution, but also cloud hosted Kronos and LMS solutions.
Technical App Admins - This team supports these applications by owning the technical architecture – completing app installs/upgrades internally and coordinating with other technical teams who deal with servers(wintel/unix) and databases(DBA) to keep the applications running smoothly.
SAAS vendor liaisons – Our Ops team also “wraps-around” several SAAS solutions to represent and provide support to the organization.
On-call & Service Desk Requests – This team also fronts, triages and fulfills all requests coming back from the IT Service Desk for supported applications – day and night.
Limited Software Development/Authoring - We strive to minimize application development and to drive the use of the software as designed – however some limited development is needed, this team completes development or/oversees contractors to complete this work as well.
Enterprise Applications Operations – Analyst Role:
ES Operations team analyst duties include:
On-call queue/Service Desk monitoring –managing and fulfilling incident tickets to meet SLAs
Execute/coordinate with vendor to complete upgrades to maintain technical currency of our on-premise/SAAS based business applications
Technical work: fielding tickets, applying code changes, participating in code review, patching applications, limited development/authoring, etc.
Serve as a member of an on call rotation
Either: (a) Bachelor ' s degree plus two additional years of related experience or (b) six years total of related experience.

Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once
Strong customer service skills/mindset
Experience with Learning Management Systems – Cornerstone preferred
