Penn State Health’s exemplary Learning and Development team is searching for our next Organizational Development team member!

Our Organizational Development Consultant will be responsible for providing strategic performance consulting and organizational effectiveness solutions to Penn State Health and College of Medicine employees. In addition, this individual will create, design, and implement professional development resources to support employees and leaders. This role also requires facilitation of workshops, leadership programs, and other courses as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

Provide strategic performance consulting solutions to leaders and employees.

Partner with Human Resources Business Partners and Workforce Consultants on organizational interventions and performance improvement initiatives.

Design and develop training materials for workshops and leadership development programs.

Facilitate professional development workshops and support facilitation of New Employee Orientation.

Conducts annual Needs Assessment process.

Serves as a member of the PSH Learning Consortium.

Develop e-learning materials.

Provide Change Management support and implement change strategy for assigned customer groups.

Perform additional duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience in Education, Training and Development, Organizational Performance or related field.

Ability to possess curriculum development and facilitation skills and experience with public speaking required.

Organizational Development and problem solving skills required.

Ability to plan and organize required.

Ability to possess strategic thinking, written and oral communications required.

Must possess good listening skills and ability provide evaluations required.

Experience with Microsoft office applications, educational reporting and e-learning development tools required.

Computer, audio visual skills and the ability to troubleshoot required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s Degree

Certification from Association of Talent Development
