Responsible for participating with the Obstetrical Surgery Team in an individualized patient care plan based on assessed needs, standard of care, instrumentation/supplies, and physician preferences in order to provide surgical assistance during obstetrical cases. Provides applicable licensed practical nursing care for patients in the Women?s Health Unit.
High School Diploma required.
Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current license to practice in the state of PA or eligible for licensure in PA required.
1 year of LPN experience required.
Basic Life Support required.
Neonatal resuscitation certification required within the first six months of hire.
Strong interpersonal, effective listening, and needs anticipation skills preferred.
Adequate skills in handling instruments/equipment preferred.
Knowledge of instrumentation, equipment, and supplies preferred.
Able to stand & sit constantly; walk frequently.
Able to lift/carry 0-10 lbs. frequently; 11-50 lbs. occasionally.
Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs. frequently; 21-75 lbs. occasionally.
Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly.
Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
