The Licensed Practical Nurse at Nyes road in Harrisburg will offer you the opportunity to work in three (3) different pediatric specialties with a multi-disciplinary team: Pediatric Cardiology, General Pediatrics & Pediatric Weight Management. This role will offer various responsibilities with patient interaction including rooming, assessment, vaccination/medication administration, well visit screenings, EKGs, holt monitors, point of care testing, etc. Opportunity for growth, quality and safety projects as well as participation in a team-oriented environment. This role will primarily be based out of the Nyes Road clinic but may require some minimal travel to the Children’s Heart Group outreach sites. (Less than 4 days per month).

Hours of Operation:

Monday-Friday – 8:00AM-4:30PM

- High School diploma required.

- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current license to practice in the state - of PA or eligible for licensure in PA required.

- BLS required.

- One (1) year experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred.


- Able to stand & sit constantly; walk frequently.

- Able to lift/carry 0-10 lbs. frequently; 11-50 lbs. occasionally.

- Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs. frequently; 21-75 lbs. occasionally.

- Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly.

- Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
