The Legal Assistant is responsible for providing support to a Senior VP, General Counsel, and various lawyers. The Legal Assistant reviews, assesses and analyzes various types of confidential documentation, receives and triages internal and external telephone inquiries, conducts critical thinking and submits recommendations to counsel. The also work closely with senior operational management.


Previous experience in the legal or general counsel field.

Previous experience supporting C-Suite level employees


Associate's degree or equivalent in paralegal or legal studies required.

5 years of related experience required.

Previous executive level administrative support experience required.


Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint - intermediate level) required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Strong interpersonal skills required.

Ability to independently lead and manage multiple projects and carryout complex or sensitive assignments required.

Contract document management skills required.

Ability to perform legal research (Westlaw and book-based) required.

Familiarity with internal systems such as XM, IBIS and ERS for financial and reimbursement systems required.
