JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Nurse Educator in this role will cover several procedural areas as well as being responsible for large nursing informatics projects. The Clinical Nurse Educator will also be responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of orientation, basic and advanced education programs and specialized courses for all levels of nursing personnel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate degree is required. If the graduate degree is in a related discipline other than nursing, then the baccalaureate degree must be in nursing.

2 years direct care clinical experience required.

Current licensure by Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing required.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

Critical Care nursing experience.

Interest in informatics.

Previous teaching experience preferred.

AHA Instructor Certification preferred.

Clinical Certification preferred.
