Responsible for providing leadership in establishing standards of practice for nutritional care and serving as a consultant to clinical dietitians, physicians and other health professionals, providing direct patient care and being responsible for needs assessment, program development and evaluation, in-service education, medical staff education and nutrition research.
The full-time position for a dietician is for an individual with interest and expertise in the areas of obesity, weight management, and binge eating disorders. We are looking for a dietician interested in working with adolescents and young adults with obesity who require nutritional guidance for their weight management, as 50 % of this position. The other 50% of this position will be working in adolescents and young adults referred to the Adolescent Clinic for obesity and binge eating disorder, seeing those patients in the outpatient clinic setting or working with binge eating disorder patients admitted to the newly developed intensive out-patient program for teens and young adults with binge eating disorder.
Either: (A) Master's degree plus 2 years of experience required or (B) Bachelor¿s Degree with an additional job related specialty certification plus 7 years of experience required.
Registered Dietitian (ADA) (or Registry Eligible) required (Commission on Dietetics Registration).
Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (Pennsylvania) required.
