Under the direction of the Team Leader, is responsible for the resolution and collection of an assigned group of third party accounts, performing follow-up, adjustments, refunds, and administrative duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
2 years experience in either (a) medical office setting, (b) patient/third party billing or (c) customer service.
Proficient use of CRT, typing and PC skills.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
Organizational, analytical and decision-making skills are necessary.
Must be detail and result oriented and be able to handle stressful situations.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Or, successful completion of PFS training program while in the Patient Billing Assistant job.
