Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Department of Psychiatry along with our clinical partner, the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute (PPI), is recruiting board eligible/board certified child/adolescent psychiatrists.
In conjunction with the expansion of our pediatric inpatient and partial hospitalization services, the Department of Psychiatry at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a child/adolescent psychiatrist to work in the outpatient setting at the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute (PPI), our clinical partner. Primary clinical focus is working with children and adolescents in the outpatient setting, but opportunities for care across the life span in a variety of settings exist if interested. This is a full time position that includes a faculty appointment within the Department of Psychiatry at the Penn State College of Medicine. Ample opportunities for teaching medical trainees of all levels exist, as well as the capacity for other scholarly and administrative activities. There are minimal on-call requirements with additional compensation for extra call.
Medical degree - M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
Completion of accredited residency program
Licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
Board certification/eligibility in child and adolescent psychiatry is required with certification within 3 years of hire
