JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible to process oral and certain injectable prescription orders through the pharmacy software program QS1. Follows individual patient regimens to ensure timely ordering and delivery of medications including refills. Obtains authorizations for oral drugs as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Either: (A) Associate's Degree plus 3 years of clinical support experience required or (B) 5 years of clinical support experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Visio, Business Objects

Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

Ability to define, gather, and communicate the metrics

Ability to manage issues and tasks to closure with little or no direction from Director or PMs

Ability to manage project issues to resolution

Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Excellent follow through on actionable items

Analysis, synthesis, and problem solving skills

Deductive and inductive thinking skills

Attention to detail and accuracy skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and effectively manage competing priorities
